![]() ![]() Side-note: i see that a lot of people have been delivered copies with a filthy dust jacket, if yours have black marks or streaks on it, then i can confirm that these scrub away by simply (carefully) rubbing a damp cloth on them, leaving your book looking as it should. Tragic fact: did you know that the author of the original novel Osamu Dazai actually ended up ending his life just like it's depicted in the manga? making the novel one of the best selling suicide notes of all time. ![]() I can't put into words what i felt when i turned over the last page and closed this book after reading it straight all the way through for 3 and a half hours, this book will leave you feeling hollow and with a lot of questions about the human relationships you've made throughout your life, at least i did, this is not a negative but a major plus - not many manga have left me with moral and existential questions, but Junji Ito succeeds with this almost every time, i highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Ito's work or with an interest in social and existential philosophy. ![]()
